Friday 11/1
TIME TO SETTLE IN AND CAMP – For camping ground arrangements in the park. FE Racing has reserved site E/F. Again, no camping at the horse staging area.
Packet pick up at Junction Bike from 5:00pm-6:00pm

Saturday 11/2 – RACE DAY
8:00 am – 9:30 a.m. Packet Pick up located at the horse staging area. All registered riders will receive a special addition Showdown t-shirts and plump goody bag.
9:35 am Mandatory Athlete Meeting.
10:00 am The Showdown At Usery Pass BEGINS! A Le Mans style start with just a quarter mile run.
12:30 pm FREE KIDS RACE 6 yrs. old and under. Kids will ride around in a circular course for approx. 15-20 and they will get prizes based upon how many laps they do. Kids need their helmets.
1:00 pm FREE KIDS RACE 6-10 yrs. old. They will race an out and back on NOSO trail. Prizes for all kids.
5:00 pm Headlights required for all riders on course.
6:00 pm – Finish (Must start your last lap by 5:59:59 pm and must finish with checkers after 6:00:00 pm)
8:00 pm- Awards & REST, RELAX AND ENJOY, IT’S PARTY TIME!
GRAVEL GRINDER RULES:
For the race you can ride a gravel road bike, a cyclocross bike or a road bike adapted to ride dirt. Tires may not be wider that 42mm. Drop handlebars are required. No dampened suspension shocks or forks permitted though we do allow shock absorbing elastomer or flex type forks, frames and seatposts not to exceed 80mm of travel.3

PARKING:
Parking in the horse lot or Trailhead staging area will be limited to 1 car per team. Additional parking is in the A/B campground, Cholla Campground, any of the picnic areas and pull outs. Please do not park on the road.
TIMING:
Chip timing provided by Mangled Momentum. Any results questions or DNFs please check in at the timing trailer located next to the finish line during the race.
