Transgender rights in the U.S. in 2026 are under intense attack and have been significantly rolled back over the past few years. We’ve seen a dramatic surge in state- and federal-level legislation restricting access to gender-affirming care, public accommodations, and legal recognition, with more than 627 anti-trans bills introduced across 38 states.

At the same time, transgender people (especially transgender women of color) continue to face alarming rates of discrimination in healthcare and housing, as well as disproportionately high levels of violence. Political battles over youth rights in schools have only intensified, leaving many young people caught in the crossfire.

This community needs us more than ever. That’s why I’m raising funds for a Northeast Florida–based organization called JASMYN. JASMYN provides vital, life-affirming services to LGBTQ+ youth, many of whom are housing insecure and lack family support. Every dollar raised goes directly toward supporting queer youth in our region.

I’m hoping to raise $1,000, and any amount *truly* makes a difference. Thank you for helping care for and protect queer youth in Northeast Florida.
